REPORT ON CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION

The month of December brings a lot of warmth, hope and glad things. To spread the message of love and good things 2nd December, 2022 was the day when St.Joseph’s Convent celebrated Christmas in the school auditorium. The hall was decorated like a bride. The stage had merry Christmas tags, a embellished crib and colorful stars hung everywhere. The chief guest for the day was Fr. Anto Meltus, our chief guest was welcomed by one of our teachers with bouquet and memento.

The ceremony began with prayer followed by choir. The students of kindergarten presented a beautiful play on the birth of Christ. Our choir team sang joyful songs in between the play.

The program included cultural activities and choir by our student Our student who disguised as Santa Claus came with a bag full of gifts and sweets, tingle bells song was played in the background that made the students and the teachers dance. The chief guest address added energy to all the participants and the audience. The boundless joy of celebrating the festival was visible on the faces of all the parents who were wow struck at the performances of the children.

REPORT ON GRADUATION DAY

St.Joseph’s Convent School celebrated its ‘First Graduation Day’ on March 17th 2023, in the school auditorium .The dignitaries of the ceremony were Sister Sheela Principal Providence College For Women,Coonoor,Sister Selva Rani Principal St.Joseph’s Convent School,Coonoor and the sisters of the Covent.

Around 42 graduands with their parents attended the ceremony to celebrate their success .The celebration started with the academic procession in which the dignitaries and the teachers entered the hall. Our Principal felicitated the chief guest with Memento and was introduced to the gathering.

The welcome address was given by Mrs.Sumithra, followed by prayer song by the students. A long procession of our young graduates started holding lights in their hands. The light in their hand depicts a new beginning.
The children were awarded certificates on this occasion for having qualified from Kindergarten to Primary. The chief guest spoke to the students to be good and uphold their teachers in high esteem. The graduates performed an action song that expressed their happiness. A graceful dance was given by the students of LKG that added elegance to the program. Parents were wow struck at the program organized by the teachers and students.
Overall it was a great day and the graduates enjoyed putting on their graduation gowns and caps.

REPORT ON PRIZE DISTRIBUTION

Annual prize distribution function was organized in our school premises on 20th March, 2023. Sister Pauline Principal St.Joseph’s Covent Anglo-Indian School was the chief guest for the day.

The students who have succeeded in various fields such as academics, co curricular activities were honored by our principal.

The students gave their active participation through dance and skit. The program came to an end leaving broad smile on the faces of the students.
